We are very pleased to present our SC2070, a 2-way studio monitor with an extra-large Air Motion Transformer.
SC2070
is a high-resolution near-/midfield Monitor that combines the eminent technologies of
SC3070
and the TEC Award-winning
SC4070
in a compact 2-way monitor.
Most prominent feature of SC2070 is a newly developed Air Motion Transformer RS7 which is the largest AMT used in a 2-way monitor.
RS7 has been developed specifically for SC2070 to achieve a crossover frequency at 1800Hz that is astonishingly low for a 2-way
monitor. The diaphragm area is 1.5 times larger in comparison to the tweeter's membrane used in SC207.
High and upper midrange range frequencies are reproduced with unparalleled precision and resolution, revealing smallest nuances
and assuring a midrange imaging at levels like those normally found in 3-way systems.
The SC2070 is a perfect work piece for mid-size professional and home recording studios where quality is paramount.
Key Features:
Fully-fledged 2-way near / mid field monitor
Newly developed proprietary RS7 Air Motion Transformer sets the crossover frequency to low 1800Hz and provides a pristine reproduction of high- and upper midrange frequency
6.5" low frequency driver with glass-fibre coated honeycomb diaphragm provides powerful bass response
Sophisticated enclosure with an ultra-stiff front plate and bevelled cabinet edges reduces unwanted resonances and diffraction
2 high-quality Class D amplifier with total output power of 250 W
Front-sided volume control and room EQ settings via SMART-knob enables perfect integration into every listening environment
Dimmable LED ring
High-resolution 24bit/192kHz Burr-Brown A/D converter
Glenn Fricker from SpectreSoundStudios has paid us a visit and we invited him to a tour of our company.

Adrian Tucker
is an entrepreneur who owns his own brand "Adrian Tucker" through which he centralizes all his work
as a producer, mastering engineer, educator, and now his new Dolby Atmos sound adventure.
In the age of 6 Adrian started learning classical piano and extended those lessons to modern music 7 years later.
He also discovered his passion for recording, mixing and mastering. This combined with a degree in marketing and
market research led him to do what he does nowadays: Adrian works as a music producer, he is a mixing engineer
for artists like Tinezz, Raquel Lamb, Maarilc, Järjim and runs one of the most popular Spanish-speaking
YouTube channels
about music production.
His studio got upgraded to Dolby Atmos, using EVE Audio SC3070, SC205, SC204 and TS108 subwoofer. In the video below Adrian shares insights on how the conversion from stereo to immersive audio has worked and what impact this audio format has to his workflow.
"I love the SC3070s because they have an impressive low end, in fact I think they don't need subwoofer. The mids are detailed and accurately defined, and the high frequency range is super smoothly reproduced thanks to their Air Motion Transformer technology."
When asked about the entire Dolby Atmos setup Adrian comments as follows:
"My EVE Audio setup for Dolby Atmos is great because the brand has speakers of very varied sizes to fit best into each
configuration. Perhaps, the most important thing is that the frequency response in the high frequencies of the monitors
matches the responses recommended by Dolby Atmos so it is adjusted to the standards and everything is much simpler and
functional."
Peter Lagoda is a former bass player from Germany who now works mainly as a mixing and mastering engineer but is also a music producer and musician.
Peter used to have a stereo set-up with EVE Audio monitors in his studio and converted it completely to a Dolby Atmos system. Today he works in his studio with three
SC4070, eight
SC205 and one
TS110.
"I decided to go with EVE Audio because of the balance of having fun listening to my mixes but having always the confidence to know what’s happening in my mixes because they are so honest."
"The AMT creates a wider sweet spot for your listening position. You don't have to stick with your head in one position, you can move a little bit…without loosing your stereo image."
"And the low end, man, the EVE Audio's they have sooo much power in the low end without being hyped."
In Finnish language the word "Savotta" has a double meaning: on one hand, it comes from the Finnish word "logging site" but, there is also a saying in Finland when something takes time and effort to get to the goal it's like "savotta". The diffuser behind the drumset in the studio is made of wooden logs and all other acoustic surfaces are wooden bars, and editing, mixing, music production is always hard work but the results are rewarding. So, what better name but "Savotta" can you think of for a studio in Finland?
What Savotta Studios are all about, what makes this place so special and what benefit in-house engineer, producer and drummer Tuukka Heikkinen aka 2ka gets from using SC3010 studio monitors you can find out here in this BeliEVEr story.
